Nayantara Melissa Sudhakar has a policy background with a focus on energy, the circular economy, and equity, diversity, and inclusion. She actively contributed to shaping climate policy in both Canada and the UK. In her prior roles, she conducted research at the Canada West Foundation’s Natural Resource Centre, and more recently, at Zero Waste Scotland, the Scottish Government’s public body for advancing the circular economy. Nayantara holds a Master’s in Public Policy from McGill University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of British Columbia.
